Titus 2 Study

3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Titus 2:3-5 KJV

If you’ve read my “why” for this blog, you know what my vision is. As an imperfect wife, mother, daughter, and friend, I want to teach you what I’m learning as I study God’s Word.

So, I decided to try a Bible study with all of you fine ladies! If you watch my Instagram stories then you’ve heard this before. Be patient with me as I fumble through this first one. I’ve never participated in a Bible study online before and I’ve certainly never been in charge of one. I don’t know exactly what this will look like. But, I know that as long as we are studying God’s Word, It won’t return void! I’ve been praying about it and brainstorming and I believe I have a plan.

I’ve chosen “Teachers of Good Things” because I’ve read it before and I know it’s a good one! Francie Taylor is one of my favorite writers and I’ve never been disappointed in any of her works. This book is no different. She uses practical tools to encourage all of us women to live up to our God given roles. She uses scripture to back up all aspects of this book and gives great counsel. You can not go wrong with this one.

So, you’ll need a couple things to get you started.

  • Titus 2:3-5 Worksheet
  • Having a notebook to keep all of your writing in wouldn’t hurt!

You also need to know that we start on February 1st! Which is Saturday! And I’m so excited!

You’ll have a short reading assignment everyday, followed by some sort of “homework” if that’s what you want to call it. There is also a section on the calendar with suggested prayer topics to help you get specific with God.

I’ll be sharing in stories a few days a week and I’ll post a “Wrap Up” post every week. Kind of a weekly recap of what we’ve been reading and learning. It will also contain your “Calendar of Events” for the next week.

If you have any questions, you can leave a comment on this post, send me a message on FB or IG. Or even send me an email. I am so excited to study God’s Word with y’all!
