I’ve been asked the same question a few times in the last few weeks. So, I decided since I can’t do the fancy “swipe up” thing on Instagram, I should write a blog post. There is so much out there under the heading of “Christian”.

Unless you spend hours searching, you can’t possibly just point to a book with the Christian label and guarantee its going to be a good Biblical one. So, I went to my own book shelf and pulled out my top 9 favorite books for you ladies. The ones I go back to time and time again and the ones I have found solid Christian counsel in.

Hey there! I’m glad you’re here. And I hope you realize the importance of daily Bible reading. If you don’t, I hope I can change that in the next few minutes. I know from personal experience that a regime of daily Bible time is good for the Spirit. Coming from someone that has been on both sides… The side where I haven’t made the Bible a priority in my life, and the side where I set back time every single day to be sure I was in the Word. I am here to tell you that daily Bible reading has changed my life. And I want to share it with you.

As we try to get going on our road to contentment, we have to find a starting point. Although many could argue where to start, after lots of prayer and study, I realize I need to start with my heart. Most problems are really deep down, a problem of the heart.
